Your Generosity Makes a Critical Difference

I often hear these questions: “Does my giving matter? What difference does my donation make?”
Here’s my answer: When you give to Boundless, it makes a big impact, no matter the size of your gift. Your donation helps provide the things that are truly important for the people we serve to lead a boundless life.
Boundless, like other similar organizations, receives most of its money from reimbursement for the services we provide. This means we get money back for the basic things we provide, like clean and safe places, staff, and necessary supplies. But reimbursement only covers the essentials and not the extra things we offer.
Let me give you an example. Boundless gets reimbursed for the food costs of the people we support in our intermediate care facilities (ICFs). This money covers their daily meals and snacks. But when it’s time to celebrate a birthday with cake and ice cream or throw a tailgate party for the big game, those costs go beyond what is covered by the regular meals.
That’s where philanthropy comes in. Through your support of the Boundless Impact Fund, we can provide those extra special things that create whole-life experiences. Sometimes, it’s the cost of a birthday cake or tasty hot wings. Other times, it’s new art supplies for the children in our programs. And sometimes, it’s technology that allows a student to have a communication device they couldn’t afford on their own.
The donations given by generous people like you give us the tools to celebrate special occasions, make lasting memories, and open up new possibilities. Thanks to our donors, those we serve can live more boundless lives.
So yes, your giving matters. And on behalf of those whose lives are touched by your generosity, I offer you boundless thanks.
