How can I volunteer with Boundless?

You can help support our mission!
Passionate individuals like you, who give their time, talents, and energy can make a tremendous impact on the lives of the people we serve. From leading a crafting session or yoga class to helping at a special event or answering phones, there are numerous ways you can make a rewarding difference — both on your own or as part of a group.
What should I know about volunteering at Boundless?
Due to the nature of our volunteer opportunities, we require all volunteers to complete training and orientation before going into the field. We also require background checks and drug screenings.
Training includes an eight-hour provider training from the DODD (Department of Developmental Disabilities), which can be taken online. Volunteers receive a certificate upon completion.
No previous experience working with adults or children with IDDs is required. What’s more important is a patient and pleasant manner, good listening and problem-solving skills, dependability, a caring heart, and a desire to build rapport with the individuals at Boundless!
