Empowering kids and teens with behavioral health challenges to take the next step.
What is the BEST program?
The Boundless Experiences for Successful Transitions (BEST) program provides intensive care to young people with autism or co-occurring intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and mental health issues during the critical transition period from youth to young adulthood.
A range of services and supports to help your loved one seamlessly transition to adulthood.
Behavioral Health Services
Students enjoy access to Boundless clinicians and licensed social workers, who assess mental health needs and develop comprehensive, individualized care plans.
Case management helps you put together all the pieces of your unique treatment puzzle and may touch upon health, community resources, education, advocacy, assistance navigating insurance and funding, transportation, and more.
Independent Living Clinical Support Services
This program builds independence and group tolerance. Activities include office work, daily living skills, and outings.
Counseling and Therapy
Our behavioral health programs help people deal with depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, co-occurring mental health diagnoses, I/DD, and more. Medication management is also available.
Our clinicians support family members by providing counseling and parent training for disruptive behavior, offering case management support, and acting as a liaison between Boundless and home.
Using a curriculum developed at UCLA, PEERS participants ages seventeen through twenty-nine learn the social and independence skills necessary for a successful transition to adulthood. Classes run for sixteen weeks and are open to those currently enrolled at Boundless.
