Philanthropy in Action
Our philanthropic partners are making a difference in the lives of the people we serve. Their generosity fuels our mission and helps create Boundless possibilities.
We will be spotlighting one of our generous philanthropic partners each quarter and we begin by recognizing the Crane Group. In January, the Crane Group donated $10,000 to Boundless Health. To celebrate, we asked the Crane Group a few questions about their philanthropic goals and why they chose Boundless.
What inspired you to support the Boundless mission with a charitable gift?
Boundless serves this community with the whole person in mind. This is an organization that commits to providing wrap-around services and establishing strategic partnerships to ensure the best quality of care for those they serve. This is why we chose to support the mission of Boundless.
Which Boundless programs/service areas interests you the most?
Our support of Boundless began with a contribution to their Health Center. We recognize the importance of a person-centered and holistic approach when it comes to working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and behavioral health challenges. To have a one-stop shop where patients and families can receive services without having to go to multiple locations greatly benefits them and our community.
What do you wish everyone knew about Boundless?
While Boundless Health specializes in serving individuals and families with I/DD, they serve people of all ages and abilities. For example, through our conversations, we learned that Boundless is implementing a targeted marketing campaign for under-resourced neighborhoods. This includes the Northside and areas where a high concentration of immigrant and new American populations. The goal is to improve access to I/DD-focused care within this community.
What is your organization doing to promote a more inclusive workplace for those with disabilities?
Crane Group is an organization that strives to live out our values of respect and family. When it comes to our workplace, we are intentional and deeply committed to how we can build a community of inclusion for all. As an example, we are intentional about providing a variety of opportunities for our associates to not only grow and thrive in the workplace but to serve our community. Many of our service opportunities are ADA-accessible.
Thank you to the Crane Group for your generosity and for your commitment to inclusion in the workplace. You are helping build a world that recognizes the potential of all people, and your support means the world to us.
