Together We Are the Largest I/DD Service Provider in Ohio

Written by Dr. Patrick Maynard, Boundless President & CEO, Boundless & Diane Beastrom, President & CEO, Koinonia Homes

We're very excited to announce that Koinonia Homes and the Boundless family of companies have signed a definitive agreement and intend to become one organization by October 1, 2023.

Both organizations have a long and well-earned history of providing excellent services to those with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Each organization has a goal to provide whole-person, whole-life care and we believe that goal is best accomplished together.

Koinonia Homes and I Am Boundless combined will create Ohio's largest nonprofit I/DD and waiver provider and become one of Ohio's five largest health and human services organizations. And although together our size will be large, we're deeply committed to keeping our approach of person-centric care and treating everyone we serve as an individual with their own story, their own needs, and their own hopes for the future.

Rest assured, nothing for your loved one will change as a result of our two organizations coming together. On October 1, your loved one’s program, schedule, and staff will all remain the same.

Throughout this process, we’re committed to open, transparent and frequent communication with all families. If you have a question about ongoing services, please continue to contact the individuals you currently communicate with who provide care for your loved one. Additionally, you are welcome to reach out to Jennifer Riha, Vice President, Programs with Boundless at jriha@iamboundless.org. If you have a concern about care or services, please reach out to Deborah Randall, Director of Compliance, Intake, and Quality Assurance with Boundless at drandall@iamboundless.org.

There is much work ahead, but we’re very optimistic about the future and hope you are, too.
