We spotlight one of our generous donors each quarter and we celebrate White Castle System, Inc. for the second quarter of 2024. As a beloved fast-food chain known for its iconic sliders, White Castle's dedication goes beyond serving delicious meals. Their commitment to community support and philanthropic efforts exemplifies their values of inclusivity and care. White Castle's contributions help us continue our mission, providing vital resources and opportunities for those we serve.
What inspired you to support the Boundless mission with a charitable gift?
White Castle loves the mission behind I Am Boundless in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.
Which Boundless programs or service areas interests you the most?
White Castle loves the Boundless Health Center and the support it gives to the family as a whole. Knowing how difficult it is to get a doctors' appointments and dentist appointments, having Boundless Health Center not only help individuals with I/DD but also support their families is huge. It takes the stress off parents to run multiple places, making it a one-stop shop for everyone in the family. This helps the family spend more quality time together, which is more beneficial in the long run.
What do you wish everyone knew about Boundless?
I Am Boundless is a very caring, compassionate and well-thought-out service that is much needed in our community. I feel this would be a great model that others could use in their communities as well.
What is your organization doing to promote a more inclusive workplace for those with disabilities?
There are many different avenues through which we support an inclusive workplace for those with disabilities, specifically at our Castle level, where we hire team members to help restocking.
On a personal level, what do you hope to accomplish with your philanthropy?
Making a great impact in our community. We love to support many diverse organizations that support individuals and make a difference in the Columbus community.
