Boundless Nights Prom: A Night to Shine

Right now, 247 high school students, ages 16 to 18, are diagnosed with I/DD across the 16 Montgomery County high schools. Among them, Boundless is proud to support about 5%. Seeing an opportunity to bring joy and build community, Greg Shetter, senior behavior health therapist at Boundless, had a brilliant idea—why not throw a prom like no other? And just like that, Boundless Nights was born!

The Boundless Nights Prom is all about making sure every student feels valued, celebrated, and truly included. It’s designed to create an unforgettable experience where all abilities—no matter the challenges—can take center stage. These magical nights aren’t just about dancing; they’re about building lifelong memories for students and their families.

Thanks to a generous grant from the Mark A. Kreusch Memorial Fund, Boundless was able to invite students from all 16 Montgomery County high schools, completely free of charge! Spots are available on a first-come, first-served basis, making this an opportunity no one will want to miss.

Set for Saturday, April 26, this first-of-its-kind Boundless event promises an unforgettable evening. From the moment guests step into the gym, they’ll be welcomed with excitement and escorted to a Photo Booth, where they can choose a Prom King crown or Prom Queen tiara before striking a pose. After that, it’s time to find the perfect table, meet new friends, hit the dance floor, or grab a treat from the refreshment table.

As the big day approaches, the excitement is contagious! Greg Shetter shared, "The Boundless Prom is really starting to feel real as we continue completing the activities on a daily basis to get us to the big day. It's generated not only a buzz of excitement here locally with so many staff talking about it but also our partners in Worthington. I'm most excited that we have our first official RSVP and to hear the excitement not only from the kiddo but from Mom that we are creating such an inclusive environment makes it all worthwhile!"
