Star Staff Spotlight: Shannon and Shonda!

At Boundless, we believe in celebrating the extraordinary people who bring our mission to life every day. This month, we’re proud to spotlight two remarkable team members from our West Creek Day Program whose commitment, heart, and longevity have made a lasting impact: Shannon Wright and Shonda Billingslea.

Shannon Wright – DSP II, West Creek – Adult Day Cleveland

Boundless Tenure: 25 years

Shannon’s favorite part of her role is simple—and powerful: making the individuals we serve smile. Her daily motivation comes from the meaningful relationships she builds and the genuine love she witnesses among the individuals at West Creek.

When asked which Boundless value resonates most, Shannon immediately chose Love, sharing that “love always wins.” That belief shines through in the way she shows up each day—with compassion, humor, and a commitment to creating joyful moments for others.

Shannon’s supervisor, Tierra Jefferson, shared: Shannon consistently demonstrates a true "heart of gold" through her compassion, patience, and genuine care, not only for the individuals she serves, but also for her peers. She goes above and beyond to support others, creating a positive and uplifting environment wherever she is. Her kindness, empathy, and willingness to help make a lasting impact on both those in her care and the team around her.

Outside of work, Shannon treasures time with her family and enjoys bringing everyone together. A fun fact? She loves to joke around, proudly calls herself a bit of a goofball, and says April Fool’s Day is her favorite holiday!

Shonda Billingslea – Program Supervisor, West Creek Day Program

Boundless Tenure: More than 20 years

For Shonda, the most rewarding part of her role is the daily interactions with the people we serve at the West Creek Day Program. She’s motivated by growth—both personal and professional—and by the opportunity to contribute to meaningful change in the lives of others.

The Boundless value that resonates most with Shonda is Empowerment, which aligns with her passion for development and helping others recognize their potential.

Outside of work, Shonda enjoys trips to the casino, watching game shows, and relaxing comfortably in her recliner. Fun fact: her nickname is “Pooh,” and her favorite color is green.
