Requirements for Face Covering at Work

Dear Boundless,

The health and safety of the people we serve and the people who provide services are of utmost importance to us. Thanks to the hard work of everyone, Boundless has been very fortunate — so far — to have very minimal incidents of COVID-19. As the state of Ohio slowly opens back up and adjusts to the new normal, we’re taking additional steps to maintain good health throughout the organization.

One of those steps is requiring all Boundless staff to wear a face covering while at work. For most of us, that means wearing a reusable cloth mask. Essential staff have already received a cloth mask made and donated by a volunteer. Please use that mask or one similar that you may have acquired on your own. We will distribute additional reusable cloth masks to all staff in a few weeks.

Please note that administrative staff are also required to wear a mask unless they are alone in an enclosed room. For those staff who enter an office building, you must wear a mask in all public spaces, including restrooms, hallways, and lobbies. If you are working from home, you are not required to wear a mask while at home.

If wearing a cloth mask is difficult for you, please contact me right away so we can make arrangments to provide an alternative face cover, like a face shield, to you.

All staff should begin using face coverings right away. Effective May 13, 2020, failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

As always, thank you so very much for your extraordinary efforts keeping each other and the people we serve safe.
