Highlights from the 2019 LAMP Conference

Medina County Courthouse

Boundless was delighted to host the 2019 Language Acquisition through Motor Planning (LAMP) conference. LAMP is a technique used by many individuals in our center-based programs to communicate with the help of speech-generating devices.

In partnership with the Center for AAC and Autism, Boundless welcomed sixty conference attendees to our Worthington campus, including parents of individuals served in our center-based programs, Boundless team members, and professionals and families from the community. Conference participants learned about the importance of motor planning for individuals who rely on communication devices. Other topics included consistent and unique motor patterns, auditory signals, core-word approaches, natural consequences, and more.

Conference participants were also treated to a presentation from Julie Butterworth from the Center for AAC and Autism, a board-certified behavior analyst and licensed speech-language pathologist.
