Evan has been interested in relieving the mental anguish of others from a very young age, even before he truly understood that meant working in mental health. It wasn’t until the end of grade school that he realized his passion for brain sciences, ultimately leading him to study psychology at Indiana University. In addition to his undergraduate studies, Evan also worked in a lab which focused on the ways social/emotional development in childhood affects life outcomes in adults, as well as the impact of bedtime routines on sleep patterns, moods, and behavior. In 2016 he moved to Columbus to begin his graduate studies at OSU and started working at Harding Hospital, first as a psychiatric care technician and then as a nurse, helping children, adolescents, and adults struggling with psychiatric crises.
