Center-Based Programs Are Suspended, Outpatient Services Remain Open

As you know, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Boundless suspended its adult day, employment, and vocational habilitation services on Friday. We also limited access to our ICFs to staff and residents.

Following the lead of state and local officials, effective Wednesday, March 18, 2020, we are also suspending on-site services at our center-based programs.

Staff will be available Tuesday, March 17, 2020, to help with any transition challenges or contingency plans. However, if you are able to keep your child at home tomorrow, we ask that you do so. We understand this situation may be challenging for you and your family members, and we will assist as much as we can.

Your child’s educational, behavioral health, and speech teams have prepared “go-home” bags with materials to support your child’s present level of learning, along with self-monitoring tools and guides. If you have not received them yet, you will be getting them very soon. Our team is also exploring the option of telehealth and video conferencing to minimize the disruption. We hope to use these platforms to provide additional parent training, counseling, and related services to each of our Boundless students and families.

The COVID-19 pandemic remains a fluid situation. As the situation progresses, we will continue to follow recommendations from the state of Ohio, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the World Health Organization (WHO).
